Stop your World for a Day
Now, for the third year running, people all over the planet are planning to take a break for the planet on September 21. This year’s theme is “Buddy-Up.” Rather than try to do this by yourself find a friend or friends who want to do it too, stay together for the day, and help each other follow the ZeDay guidelines.
The Way Forward is Clear
The Guidelines are simple:
1. Don’t use or burn oil or gas or coal.
2. Minimize (or eliminate) your use of electricity generated by fossil fuels.
3. Don’t put anyone in harm’s way: All essential and emergency services operate normally.
4. Do your best, have fun, enjoy the day!
Interrupt the Burn.
Help safeguard the well-being of future generations. Shut everything down for one day. Go back to square one. Talk to your friends and neighbours about the future you envision for the world. Everyone can do this and it will benefit everything and everyone on our planet.

Make history in 2010: just one day for a whole planet.
